On-Site Electrician

Electrician – HMP Deerbolt (Barnard Castle) DL12 9BG
£30,866 – £36,135 + 15% weekend allowance
Permanent Electrician needed at HMP Deerbolt, Bowes Road, Barnard Castle.
Hours: 39 per week
- 07:30–16:00
- Fri: 07:30–15:00
- 1 in 3 weekends on rota (+15% pay)
The Job
- Electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs
- Minor works and like-for-like replacements
- Testing & inspections to BS7671
- Safe, planned work in a secure environment
What You Need
- Level 2 Electrical qualification
- 18th Edition (17th considered with upskilling)
- Good H&S knowledge
- Electrical maintenance experience
- Basic IT skills
