ESG Drysdale is a leading grower and supplier of high-quality vegetables to major supermarkets across the UK. We operate an innovative and proactive engineering function that provides maintenance and technical support seven days a week. As a service driven organisation, we are committed to enhancing efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across all areas of our operation.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities & Projects Engineer to support ongoing production improvement projects and oversee the day to‑day maintenance of our two on‑site caravan accommodation areas. These sites include 38 static caravans housing our seasonal workforce on SAW visas. This is a diverse role that blends engineering project work with practical maintenance responsibilities.

- Respond promptly to accommodation related issues.
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the caravan sites.
- Report major issues and coordinate with relevant teams.
- Conduct monthly compliance and standards checks.
- Monitor gas supplies and place replenishment orders when required.
Engineering & Project Work
- Plan, manage, and deliver engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Fabricate, modify, and build equipment and systems that support operational improvements.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all work meets health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Qualified or highly experienced in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Fabrication disciplines.
- Proven hands-on engineering experience with project responsibility.
- Strong problem solving, planning, and organisational skills.
- Practical experience in general maintenance and repair tasks.
