Onsite Lining Operative - Join Certikin’s Skilled Team
Certikin is currently recruiting an Onsite Lining Operative to join our experienced and growing team. This hands-on, field-based role sees you installing high-quality vinyl liners into swimming pools during the construction phase across the UK.

The Role
As an Onsite Lining Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling, measuring, and cutting vinyl liners to precise specifications
- Heat welding and joining vinyl using handheld heat guns
- Ensuring a high-quality, visually impressive finished product
- Working effectively as part of a two-person onsite lining team
- Meeting tight deadlines while upholding exceptional standards of craftsmanship
You’ll receive comprehensive 1:1 training from experienced colleagues, receive all necessary support to build confidence quickly, and develop your skills within this rewarding trade.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Essential Requirements
- Previous hands-on or practical experience (preferably in construction, trades, or a similar field)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- High flexibility with working hours
- Willingness to travel nationwide, including regular overnight stays (usually 2–3 nights per week)
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
Ideal candidates will also:
- Enjoy working as part of a fast-paced, trusted team
- Be comfortable taking responsibility and displaying problem-solving skills
Working Hours & Travel
- Long days are part of the role, with maximum flexibility required
- Regular overnight stays will be necessary
- All approved overtime is paid at time and a half
- Expenses covered, including accommodation and evening meals
