HMP Kirkham, Preston PR4 2RN £30,866 - £36,135 + 15% Shift Allowance 39 Hours Per Week | Permanent
Hours: Mon–Thu: 08:00–17:00 | Fri–Sun: 08:00–16:00 | 1 in 3 weekends
About the Role
Looking for a stable plumbing role with regular hours and long-term job security? Amey is recruiting a Plumber to join their Facilities Management team at HMP Kirkham, supporting the Ministry of Justice on a secure, long-term contract.

Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Mains water supply repairs
- Fault-finding and equipment repairs
- Water sampling, inspections, and risk assessments
- General maintenance and making-good works
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating (minimum essential)
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Legionella (L8) knowledge (desirable)
Security & Vetting
- Prison Security Clearance required
- Standard DBS required (supported by Amey)
