On-Site Plumber (HMP Humber – Brough)

Salary: £30,866 – £36,135 + 15% weekend allowance
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern
- Mon–Thurs: 08:00–17:00
- Friday: 08:00–16:00
- Weekends: 08:00–15:00 (1 in 3 rota, paid at +15%)

About the Role
A hands-on plumbing role working across a large, secure institutional site. You’ll be part of a maintenance team ensuring systems run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Maintenance of mains water systems and pipework
- Fault finding, repairs, and replacements
- Water checks, sampling, and compliance tasks

Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating (minimum standard)
- Experience in maintenance (commercial or similar)
Desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Legionella awareness (not essential but a plus)
- Ability to work as part of a team in a secure environment
Additional Clearance Requirements
- Prison security clearance and standard DBS check (support provided)
