Salary: £30,866 – £36,135
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday –Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday finish at 15:30)

We’re currently looking for a qualified Plumber to join our Facilities Management team at HMP Buckley Hall, supporting the Ministry of Justice.

About The Role
As a Plumber at HMP Buckley Hall, you’ll work as part of a highly skilled on‑site team maintaining a complex, secure environment. No two days are the same, and your expertise will be vital in keeping critical services running safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Repairing and maintaining mains water supply systems
- Fault‑finding, repairing and replacing life‑expired equipment
- Completing inspections, water and Legionella sampling, and risk assessments
- Supporting site operations with additional tasks as required

You’ll Ideally Have
- A full UK driving licence
- Hands‑on experience in Plumbing in commercial or industrial settings
- Experience operating light plant
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating is essential
- Legionella (L8) and water risk assessment experience

Security clearance
This role is subject to Prison Security Clearance and Standard DBS. Amey will fully support you through the process.
