Location: Exeter – EX5 2FR

Supporting: Cornwall, Exeter & Bridgwater

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team based in Exeter (EX5 2FR), supporting recruitment activity across Cornwall, Exeter, and Bridgwater (traveling between the sites is required).

This role is suited to an experienced recruiter who is confident speaking with candidates, managing recruitment pipelines, and supporting the full candidate journey from initial contact through to onboarding.

The role will focus heavily on candidate attraction, high-volume telephone recruitment, recruitment compliance, and onboarding support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to potential candidates and actively source applicants
  • Manage candidate attraction campaigns and recruitment pipelines
  • Conduct candidate screening calls and assess suitability for vacancies
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Complete recruitment compliance checks and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
  • Manage candidate onboarding processes and maintain accurate records
  • Support recruitment open days and depot-based recruitment activities
  • Coordinate business meetings and provide recruitment administration support

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Previous recruitment experience is preferred
  • Proven experience making high-volume telephone calls and engaging with candidates
  • Confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
