On-site Staffing Coordinator & Workforce Planning Analyst
Location: The Christie Private Care, Manchester
Role Overview
Contract: Part-time (18.75 hours per week, on-site) Salary: £31,500 pro-rata, plus benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits, and career development).
Join our Workforce Planning and Temporary Staffing team at The Christie Private Care, a key player in ensuring our hospital has the right staff, in the right place, at the right time to deliver outstanding patient care.
This role combines operational coordination with data-driven decision-making, giving you a unique opportunity to influence workforce performance and contribute to the smooth running of one of the UK’s leading private hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for Facility Scheduler, staffing, and workforce planning queries across the hospital.
- Support the administration and maintenance of the Facility Scheduler system, including user access, organisational updates, and system audits.
- Analyse workforce and productivity data (using Power BI and reporting tools) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver training and ongoing support for managers and colleagues on workforce scheduling systems.
- Work closely with departmental leaders to review staffing requirements, productivity metrics, and workforce plans.

Key Requirements
- Previous experience in Temporary Staffing, workforce planning, or healthcare staffing operations.
- Proficiency in Facility Scheduler (or a similar workforce management system).
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in Power BI or reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to build effective working relationships.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including basic to intermediate Excel proficiency.
