Partner Manager - On Trade (Brand Builder)
Maverick Drinks is an award-winning UK drinks company specialising in craft, premium, and celebrity-owned brands. The company empowers modern beverage brands to thrive through expertise in eCommerce, retail, wholesale, and on-trade partnerships.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the presence of the Maverick Drinks portfolio in the on-trade sector. As Partner Manager - On Trade (Brand Builder), you will significantly contribute to growing brand presence, nurturing customer partnerships, and ensuring the success of a diverse portfolio of premium drinks brands by collaborating with commercial and brand-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive distribution and growth of the Maverick Drinks portfolio across assigned accounts.
- Act as a consultant for on-trade customers, providing insights into craft spirits.
- Collaborate with trade marketing, brand ambassadors, and sales teams to increase distribution and brand awareness.
- Leverage industry networks to create new business opportunities and build a diverse customer base, focusing on strategic lighthouse accounts.
- Develop territory strategies aligned with company objectives to target listings on back bars and cocktail menus.
- Manage account information to maintain a comprehensive view of customer activity.
- Plan and execute A&P (administer and promote) investments and trade activations to deliver positive return on investment.
- Share category trends and consumer insights to inform ranging decisions and broaden brand presence.

Requirements
- Experience in building on-trade relationships within premium spirits or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
- Proven track record of growing distribution and performance of assigned accounts.
- Experience in new business development across regional territories.
- Capacity to manage regional on-trade accounts, open new premium spirits listings, and boost performance across an existing territory.
- Experience in planning activations and managing budgets.
- Strong knowledge of craft spirits trends, category insights, and customer ranging decisions.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

This role is predominantly field-based, with a primary focus on Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds.
