We have an opportunity for an Onboarding Coordinator to join their team of staff in the HR Administration department.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties Of This Role Include
- Collaborate with HR Assist Team: Work closely with the HR Assist team to support various tasks related to the onboarding process. This includes following up on references and ensuring all candidates have confirmed start dates, with timely follow-ups where necessary.
- Manage Onboarding Tracker: Regularly update the onboarding tracker to reflect the progress of each candidate through the onboarding process. Ensure that all relevant information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Verify Offer Acceptance: Ensure that candidates have correctly accepted the offers made to them in the system. Follow up with candidates and relevant parties to resolve any discrepancies.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a high standard of customer service to new hires, answering any questions they may have and guiding them through the onboarding process. Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all new employees.
- Coordinate Onboarding Activities: Ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for a seamless onboarding experience.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure all onboarding activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. Keep abreast of any changes in regulations that may impact the onboarding process.

- Previous experience in an HR role, particularly in onboarding or recruitment, is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills over the telephone, via text and via email.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.
