Job Title: New Business Onboarding Executive – Marketplace Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time | Mon–Fri
Our client is a fast-growing, privately owned retail business with a strong national presence and an ambitious digital roadmap. As part of their continued expansion, they're looking for Onboarding Executive to join their Marketplace team. This is a pivotal role that sits at the intersection of new business, seller experience, and operations.
The Role You'll own the onboarding journey for new third-party sellers joining their marketplace platform. From initial sign-up through to handover to the account management team, you'll be the key point of contact. This includes guiding sellers through product listings, compliance requirements, and platform tools to set them up for long-term success.

What You'll Be Doing Guiding new sellers through platform onboarding, tools, and policies Conducting seller vetting and compliance checks Supporting sellers with product listing, optimisation, and operational setup Tracking seller progress and KPIs across their first 4–6 months Delivering onboarding training sessions to new sellers Using Zendesk to manage seller queries and ensure timely resolution Collaborating with internal teams including Account Management, Finance, Marketing, and Compliance Producing reports to support performance tracking and decision-making

What We're Looking For 0–2 years' experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, or a customer-facing operations role Familiarity with marketplace platforms and product listing processes Strong communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities Confident using Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis) A collaborative team player who's comfortable working cross-functionally
