Oncology Breast Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist
We have a really exciting opportunity for you to join our very well established Oncology Breast Cancer Service as a Breast Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist
We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational and forward thinking practitioner, who is passionate about Cancer specialism. You should have extensive experience in oncology as well as having excellent leadership, management and communication skills.
Enthusiasm, a desire to learn and flexibility are essential for this role, as are good interpersonal and organisational skills. You will take pride in your responsibility for the quality of the care in your clinical area and provide sound clinical and professional leadership to your multi-disciplinary team. The Service aims to deliver and sustain the highest standards of care, quality, safety and dignity for all of our patients.
The post will be based at the University Hospitals site however, there may be travel to the site of Rugby St Cross for outpatient clinics.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

To establish and provide a specialist service for the care and ongoing management of patients diagnosed with breast cancer undergoing cancer treatment. You will participate in the provision of high-quality care from diagnosis, through treatment and during follow up.
You will make informed decisions within your own area and scope of professional practice to ensure agreed standards and targets are met.
The post holder will develop and implement opportunities for advancing clinical practice and for ensuring collaborative working relationships, incorporating expert clinical practice, leadership, consultation, and education.
