About the role

Reporting to the Business Application Manager, the Product Owner Architect – Colleague Systems plays a key role in shaping the technology landscape that supports colleague, finance, payroll, and productivity systems. Acting as the link between business and IT, this role drives innovation, ensures technology solutions align with strategic priorities, and delivers secure, scalable, and effective systems that enable business success.

You will be responsible for

  • Understand how all IT systems interface with each other in the business
  • Assess and validate how any new solutions fit within the existing architecture
  • Work with the business to design new solutions/system changes relating to Access XD, OneAdvanced Financials, Microsoft 365, colleague identity security and MIM.
  • Assist and advise on the development of the business roadmap within finance, payroll, people & O365
  • Drive the business forward with pro-active solution proposals for roadmap items
  • Ensure any new solutions comply with required security and audit standards
  • Deliver change in accordance with group information and One Stop IT security standards
  • Manage minor projects relating to Access XD, OneAdvanced Financials, Microsoft 365 and MIM
  • Provide 3rd line support to the business inside and outside of core working hours
  • Manage & conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure the safety, health & welfare at work of all colleagues & customers
  • Manage the software partners in my functions to ensure smooth operations for One Stop

You will need

  • High technical understanding of IT systems and interface methods
  • Planning skills
  • Good communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to People Manage to assist in the development of a team
  • Previous experience in a Solution Architect role
