Role Responsibilities
- Dedicated one-to-one support: Mentor and assist one pupil, or a small group of up to six pupils
- Lesson assistance: Support the classroom teacher during teaching sessions
- Progress tracking: Report on pupil progress and concerns, collaborating with staff to meet individual needs
- Supervision duties: Oversee pupils during non-classroom time, including activities, trips, and extracurricular events
- Preparation & support: Assist with lesson planning, classroom organisation, setting work, and marking
- Relationship-building: Foster positive interactions and drive effective learning outcomes

Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (C) or equivalent in English and Maths, with strong IT skills
- Experience preferred:
- Previous role as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs in education
- Additional responsibilities in school (e.g., food hygiene, forest school coordinator, lunchtime duties, or school yoga)
- Skills & commitment:
- Experience in behaviour management techniques
- Willingness to professionally develop and take on new challenges
