Job Title: OneStream Planning Architect

Location: United Kingdom

Henderson Drake is partnering with a Diamond-level OneStream consultancy to appoint a Planning Architect with the technical depth and delivery experience to shape planning solutions from the ground up.

You'll bring a level of OneStream expertise that goes beyond configuration, someone who can make considered architectural decisions across planning, budgeting, and forecasting workstreams, articulate the rationale to senior stakeholders, and provide the technical backbone that delivery teams can build around with confidence.

What you will be doing

  • Define and own the technical architecture across OneStream planning engagements, from initial design through to delivery
  • Translate complex planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements into scalable, maintainable OneStream solutions
  • Navigate driver-based modelling, workforce planning, and complex allocation requirements from the outset
  • Set technical standards and design patterns for delivery teams to work within
  • Engage senior client stakeholders on solution design, platform strategy, and long-term planning roadmap decisions
  • Identify and resolve architectural risks early, before they become delivery problems
  • Support pre-sales and scoping activity, providing technical credibility at the earliest stage of an engagement
  • Mentor and guide consultants across the practice on OneStream planning best practice
  • Guide clients through UAT, validation, and transition to business-as-usual

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
