Online Assistant
Online Assistant – Fast & Flexible Role in Sainsbury’s Stores

As an Online Assistant, you’ll be the special ingredient that supports a joyful shopping experience for our online customers, ensuring they receive everything they shop for at Sainsbury’s on their doorsteps.
Eligibility
To apply for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be above the school-leaver age in your country (check GOV.UK for details).
- If shifts include hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
- Hold Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
- Picking and selecting the best quality products from the shop floor to fulfil online orders, ensuring they are ready for delivery.
- Using a handheld device to:
- Plan the most efficient route around the store
- Select required products
- Track time limits for completing tasks
- Handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and helping load vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
- Offering expert assistance to customers, including brilliantly answering questions and recommending products.
- Gaining in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and promotions to support customers and maximise satisfaction.
- Working flexibly across the store as required, adapting to changing demands and demands.
