Online Assistant – Store Team Role
About the Role

As one of our Online Assistants, you’ll be the special ingredient that supports a joyful shopping experience for our online customers, ensuring they receive everything they shop for at Sainsbury’s.
Eligibility
- Must be above the school-leaver age in your country School leaving age - GOV.UK
- If shifts cover hours before 6am or after 11pm, must be 18+
- Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
What You’ll Be Doing
- Picking and selecting best-quality products ready for online orders, or providing brilliant product substitutes where items are unavailable
- Using a route-planning handset to efficiently organise tasks and meet completion deadlines
- Working behind the scenes to:
- Process customer queries and orders
- Assist with van loading for Home Delivery Drivers
- Offering exceptional customer service, answering questions and proactively helping wherever needed
- Building in-depth knowledge about:
- Our products
- Services
- Promotions to provide informed recommendations
- Working flexibly across the store as required
