Online Assistant
Floor Picker – Online Orders (Full-Time & Part-Time)
About the Role
Our Floor Picker role is critical in fulfilling online customer orders with speed and precision. The role involves:
- Picking and selecting high-quality products from the shop floor to meet online customer orders, or offering excellent substitutions when items are unavailable.
- Using mobile handsets to plan efficient routes around the store based on order requirements and turnaround time.
- Supporting customer service, processing orders, handling inquiries, and assisting with van loading for our Home Delivery Drivers.
- Delivering a brilliant shopping experience by proactively assisting customers and building strong product/promotion knowledge.
- Working flexibly across the store as needed—ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment
- Pick and prepare the best possible products for online orders before delivery.
- Execute substitutions seamlessly when stock is limited or unavailable.

Tech & Process Efficiency
- Navigate the store using digital route planning tools to maximise order speed and accuracy.
- Manage time effectively, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule per shift demands.

Customer Support & StoreWay
- Engage with customers with friendliness and professionalism, handling routine and complex queries.
- Load and organise store shipments for Home Delivery Drivers with care.
- Foster product knowledge to offer tailored recommendations and promotions.
