Online Assistant

Floor Picker – Online Orders (Full-Time & Part-Time)

About the Role

Our Floor Picker role is critical in fulfilling online customer orders with speed and precision. The role involves:

  • Picking and selecting high-quality products from the shop floor to meet online customer orders, or offering excellent substitutions when items are unavailable.
  • Using mobile handsets to plan efficient routes around the store based on order requirements and turnaround time.
  • Supporting customer service, processing orders, handling inquiries, and assisting with van loading for our Home Delivery Drivers.
  • Delivering a brilliant shopping experience by proactively assisting customers and building strong product/promotion knowledge.
  • Working flexibly across the store as needed—ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment

    • Pick and prepare the best possible products for online orders before delivery.
    • Execute substitutions seamlessly when stock is limited or unavailable.
  • Tech & Process Efficiency

    • Navigate the store using digital route planning tools to maximise order speed and accuracy.
    • Manage time effectively, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule per shift demands.
  • Customer Support & StoreWay

    • Engage with customers with friendliness and professionalism, handling routine and complex queries.
    • Load and organise store shipments for Home Delivery Drivers with care.
    • Foster product knowledge to offer tailored recommendations and promotions.
