Online Assistant
Picking & Packing Team – Sainsbury’s Roles
What you’ll be doing:
- Picking and selecting the best quality online products on the shop floor for customer delivery
- Providing excellent substitutions when ordered items are out of stock
- Using a handheld device to:
- Plan optimised routes through the store
- Locate required products quickly
- Track completion time for assigned tasks
- Supporting operational teams with:
- Processing customer enquiries
- Loading delivery vans
- Ensuring smooth home delivery workflows
- Delivering exceptional customer service, including:
- Proactively resolving queries
- Offering product recommendations based on deep knowledge of Sainsbury’s products, promotions, and services
- Working flexibly across the store as operational needs require
