Online Assistant
Online Assistant – Sainsbury’s Stores
About the Role
Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are alike. Located at the heart of the local community, we provide outstanding value, quality, and service to customers every day.
As an Online Assistant, you’ll be the key ingredient that enhances the experience for our online customers, ensuring they receive the best from their purchases at Sainsbury’s.
Eligibility
- You must be above the school-leaver age in your country (check Government UK guidelines)
- If shifts include pre-6am or post-11pm hours, you must be at least 18 years old
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfilment: Picking and selecting the best online customer orders from the shop floor, ensuring quality and accuracy. When stocked items aren’t available, sourcing brilliant substitutions.
- Route Optimisation: Using a hand-held device to plan your shopping route, tracking progress, and efficient selection of items.
- Customer Reception: Handling customer queries, processing orders, and supporting loading teams for deliveries.
- Customer Service: Providing personalised service and product recommendations. Always ready to assist proactively.
- Flexible Contributions: Part of a dynamic team supporting the store, learning to adapt and work across different areas as required.
