Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for an Online Computer Science Tutor for GCSE and A-Level students. The tutor will deliver one-to-one or small-group online lessons, following exam board specifications and adapting content to individual student needs. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Planning engaging lessons
- Explaining core Computer Science and related mathematical concepts
- Guiding students through programming exercises
- Providing regular feedback on their progress
The tutor will use online platforms and digital tools to set homework, review student work, and track performance, while maintaining clear communication with students and, where appropriate, parents or guardians. The role also involves preparing learners for assessments and exams, including past paper practice and focused revision sessions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and a solid foundation in Mathematics relevant to GCSE and A-Level curricula.
- Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt their teaching style to different learners.
- Candidates should have practical programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar languages) and the ability to guide students through coding tasks and problem-solving.
- Candidates should have proven tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with GCSE and A-Level students, and familiarity with UK exam boards.
