Support People in Harmony to create inclusive online spaces for mixed race people, couples and families. This role involves planning and facilitating online discussions, encouraging meaningful dialogue, coordinating contributors and helping people feel heard, safe and connected.

What difference will you make?

This role will help People in Harmony build meaningful connections through accessible and inclusive online spaces. The volunteer will support opportunities for mixed race people, couples and families to share experiences, discuss important issues and feel part of a supportive community.

The role will also help People in Harmony expand its online activities in a manageable and sustainable way,.

What are we looking for?

Demonstrable experience (minimum 3 years) in online facilitation Comfortable leading structured conversations and engaging groups in online settings Strong listening skills and ability to respond sensitively to different perspectives Experience creating inclusive, respectful and psychologically safe spaces for discussion Confidence using Zoom to manage interactive sessions Interest in identity, lived experience and social dialogue Ability to plan, deliver and reflect on sessions to support ongoing learning and improvement

What will you be doing?

People in Harmony is a membership organisation and we currently provide a monthly space on Zoom for members to meet. A key aspect of this role is facilitating membership community sessions.

Additionally, we are looking for a volunteer who can design and facilitate online sessions, including webinars, discussions, and interactive events.

This role supports the creation of thoughtful and well-structured spaces for dialogue on themes connected to mixed identity, belonging, and lived experience.
