We’re Looking For:
Licensed Mental Health Professionals specialising in:
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Psychologist (PsyD)
- Experienced mental health therapist or counsellor passionate about supporting:
- Adults
- Couples
- Teens

Requirements:
✔ 3+ years of mental health counselling experience ✔ Master’s or Doctorate in:
- Counselling
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Marriage & Family Therapy
✔ Actively licensed and independent (no supervision required):
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent.
✔ Professional setup for telehealth sessions. ✔ Exceptional written communication skills. ✔ Professional liability insurance (required).
✔ Reliable high-speed internet. ✔ Must reside in the US.
Exclusions:
BetterHelp does not accept:
- Interns (or those needing supervision).
- Substance abuse counsellors.
- School counsellors.
- Registered nurses (unless dual-licensed).
- Career counsellors.
- Christian counsellors (unless also licensed as a therapist).
- Business coaches (unless they hold a valid mental health licence).
