About the Role

Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting for a permanent Online SEND Teacher on behalf of a specialist education provider in Manchester. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for an experienced SEND Teacher, Online Teacher, SEN Teacher, or Special Educational Needs Teacher who is passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, and other additional learning needs.

Working from an online learning environment, you will deliver personalised, high-quality teaching that enables learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. This permanent, term-time-only teaching role offers an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful difference to vulnerable learners who require specialist educational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated online lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes and individual learning plans
  • Teach and support pupils with SEND, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, ADHD, anxiety, communication needs, and Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • Create a safe, structured, and inclusive virtual classroom that promotes engagement and wellbeing
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning, behavioural, communication, and sensory needs
  • Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, Learning Support staff, SEND professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote independence, confidence, emotional regulation, and positive educational outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
