Online Team Leader – Job Description
Are you good with people and a natural leader, or a great customer assistant looking for the next step in your career? Do you have a helpful and friendly style, enjoy meeting new people, and go above and beyond for customers?
We're looking for Team Leaders to lead our in-store Online teams and drive our performance forward. As an Online Team Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind our in-store Online team.
About the Role
As an Online Team Leader, you will:
- Create a team that delivers outstanding, friendly, and helpful service to all customers
- Foster an engaging department culture where colleagues are trusted to prioritise customers and actively contribute ideas for improvement
- Build a supportive, performance-driven culture where achievement and contributions are recognised and rewarded
- Analyse departmental data to identify opportunities to simplify and speed up processes while mitigating risks and finding solutions
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and legal obligations specified by the company
- Hold accountability for ensuring all orders are picked, despatched, and delivered within the required timelines, with minimal substitutions

About You
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Experience in developing and leading teams, including coaching to enhance competence and confidence for high performance
- Strong operational and technical knowledge of the Online department
- The ability to effectively plan, organise, and manage workloads (both personal and for direct reports)
- The discipline to work to strict deadlines
