Online Trading Manager R.Com, PP Clinique - 7 Months Fixed Term Contract
Description The Online Trading Manager for retail.com, PP is responsible for strategically managing the online retail business and driving sales performance across the brand’s online retail partners, pure play sites. This role involves managing relationships with key retailer contacts, executing promotional and marketing strategies, and optimising the online shopping experience to achieve sales targets.
Sales & Reporting Define and execute the strategy to drive sales across retailer websites, pure play sites, and the UK brand website.Collaborate with the brand team to forecast and re-phase sales estimates for each online retailer.Compile regular reports and analyses of brand performance across retailer sites and pure play platforms to identify trends and opportunities.Manage the forecasting of gift quantities and strategy per retailer, including online exclusives.Conduct weekly sales analyses, monitor mix of business, site performance, and emerging trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.Manage the P&L for online sales and A&P investment, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
Planning & Collaboration Meet weekly with National Accounts and Marketing Teams to develop, maintain, and review strategy for retailer.com platforms.Lead weekly calls and monthly planning meetings with retailers to ensure alignment and timely execution of key initiatives.Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure a 360-degree brand approach across both online and in-store activations.Build robust marketing strategies for each retailer site, creating new programmes and content plans to drive sales.Oversee the creation and execution of promotional activities and merchandising strategies for retailer websites.Partner with retailers to gain insights on site analytics, including click-through rates, traffic, and sales performance.

Team Management & Leadership Lead and inspire the Online Brand Team, providing regular feedback and guidance to foster team development.Cultivate a supportive and engaging work environment, leading by example and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the brand’s goals.Provide regular feedback to direct reports, offering coaching and training to support individual growth and development.
Retailer Coordination & Stock Management Build and maintain relationships with key online retailer contacts, ensuring the brand is front of mind in retailer considerations.Support the execution of the online gift with purchase programme, working with the Retailer.com Online Manager and National Accounts Manager.Manage the stock allocation process for online retailers, ensuring timely delivery of products and resolving any stock issues.Oversee new product launches on retailer websites, ensuring that marketing campaigns and content align with the global and local strategies.Monitor retailer.com business performance, securing the best initiatives to meet sales goals.

Website Management & User Experience Take full ownership of the website, ensuring that content is optimised to reflect global and UK strategies, local promotions, and seasonal activities.Drive improvements to site KPIs (e.g., Conversion Rate, Average Order Value, Traffic, Bounce Rate, Revenue) through targeted strategies.Collaborate with global and local production teams to create new on-site features that enhance the user experience and position the website as the brand’s digital flagship.Lead initiatives to drive personalisation and improve customer engagement using third-party agencies.Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in e-commerce platforms and Google Analytics. Leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring a team. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality online customer experiences. Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and website analytics tools. Proven track record in digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, email, and affiliate marketing.
