Base Location: Hadyard Hill Wind Farm, near Dailly, Girvan, South Ayrshire
Salary: £36,139 - £48,427 depending on experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
Join our dedicated team at Hadyard Wind Farm the first in the UK to generate more than 100MW. You’ll play a key part in maintaining a 120MW wind farm with 51 turbines, helping generate clean electricity for homes across the UK
These opportunities are open to entry level Technicians looking to start a career in Renewables through to Enhanced Wind Turbine Technicians looking to drive the change to Net Zero.
You will
- Carry out planned maintenance and fault-finding to keep our 51-turbine site running safely and efficiently. (With another 22 turbines at our satellite sites, Artfield Fell & Balmurrie)
- Help maximise turbine performance, ensuring the wind farm operates at its best throughout the year.
- Work with experienced technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance using safe, structured work practices.
- Assist in improving site performance, helping us generate more renewable energy for homes and businesses.
- Play an active role in scheduled standby cover, supporting the safe and reliable operation of the wind farm (rotational allowance applies).

You have
- A Level 3 qualification (NC/SVQ or equivalent) in a mechanical or electrical discipline, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
- Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, ideally on wind turbines or heavy plant machinery.
- An understanding of safe working practices, including permit systems and working-at-height procedures.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- A willingness to live within approximately 45 minutes of Hadyard Wind Farm, or relocate to meet this requirement.
