Onsite Manager
Onsite Manager – Coalville Depot (ATA Sameday)
ATA Sameday is looking for an experienced Onsite Manager to lead daily operations at our Coalville depot.
This is a full-time, hands-on role with responsibility for both warehouse operations and driver performance in a fast-paced, time-critical environment. You will take full ownership of day-to-day depot performance, ensuring collections are completed as planned, teams are fully resourced, and all activity is carried out safely and compliantly.
The role requires Monday to Friday attendance, with some weekend cover during peak periods. Operational flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including scanning, loading, and space management
- Oversee drivers, route coverage, and daily dispatch
- Lead onsite teams and deliver clear daily briefings
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance across warehouse and transport operations
- Monitor performance, attendance, and operational standards
- Support recruitment and onboarding of drivers and warehouse staff
- Produce daily updates and operational reports
About You
We’re looking for:
- Experience in a depot, warehouse, or transport management role
- Previous experience in same-day, last-mile, or courier operations (a preference)
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Confidence in handling both warehouse teams and drivers
- An organised, proactive mindset—comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment
