Onsite Manager

Onsite Manager – Fixed-Term Contract (Permanent Available Eventually)

Location: Kitts Green, Birmingham

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: Competitive with comprehensive benefits

We now have an opportunity for a brilliant Onsite Manager, based at a customer site in Birmingham.


About the Role

As Onsite Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations at a customer site while acting as their primary support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing on-site operations and coordinating with the customer’s engineering team.
  • Attending management meetings and supporting customer-specific projects.
  • Assessing stock levels and providing technical support, including:
    • Assisting with part identification.
    • Answering query requests.
    • Preparing quotes.
    • Processing orders via customer CMS/ERP systems and our own systems.
  • Monitoring performance metrics (such as OTIF, stock checks, and slow-moving items) to ensure key KPIs are met.
  • Optimising assets—managing all on-site assets efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) industry (or related crossover fields).
  • Basic but strong computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to liaise at all levels within the organisation.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver high levels of service.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a team.
  • A full driving licence is advantageous.

Ideal (but not essential):

  • Past experience in stores management or procurement.
