About the Company

We are part of Robert Walters, the world’s most trusted talent solutions business. Globally, we offer recruitment, outsourcing, and talent advisory services for businesses of any size, connecting people with diverse skills, ambitions, and backgrounds.

About the Role

Robert Walters is seeking an exciting new opportunity for a Knowledge Graph Engineer Consultant to join our team.

As a Consultant, you’ll enjoy:

  • A permanent position with Robert Walters
  • Deployment on client projects across organisations
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Work within a global business delivering top-tier services to blue-chip clients

What You’ll Do

You will design and deliver a proof-of-concept knowledge graph for investment fund data at one of the world’s largest asset managers.

Key tasks:

  • Encode business rules, regulatory constraints, and identifier relationships into machine-readable ontologies, automating processes across thousands of funds across six global markets.
  • Develop an investment fund ontology (in OWL 2/RDF/Linked Data) modelling the hierarchy: Fund > ShareClass > Listing > Security
    • Supporting 73+ identifier types (e.g., ISIN, SEDOL, CUSIP, LEI, Bloomberg Ticker).
  • Create SHACL validation shapes to enforce business rules (e.g., "A US-domiciled ETF listing must have a valid ISIN").
  • Build SKOS concept schemes for harmonised vocabulary across internal systems.
  • Design data integration pipelines mapping relational data into RDF triples using R2RML, rdflib, or similar tools.
  • Implement an API layer for programmatic graph data access.
  • Generate automated governance reports highlighting data quality gaps and inconsistencies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
