The Role: Account Director (OOH Product & Delivery)
Overview You will lead the UK Spark Outside (OOH) offering, reporting both to assigned clients and supporting the Business Director in agency development.
Your primary focus is delivering best-in-class OOH solutions in alignment with our core strategies: integrated, data-driven, and innovative. This will involve:
- Guiding a team that creates solutions integrated smartly, with a data + tech-driven approach,
- Ensuring outputs scale production, precision, and accuracy profitably.
- Reflecting these planning approaches with large, growing brands.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Strategic Leadership
- Lead the revenue and KPI targets for your portfolio of clients, ensuring OOH scales efficiently.
- Develop and execute SMART business growth plans for Key Clients, coordinating with senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex client business goals into high-impact OOH strategies for planning, buying, and activation.
- Work closely with media owners, methods, agencies, and planning teams to drive media strategy and structure where necessary.

Operational Delivery
- Oversee a team delivering high-efficiency, high-quality, and high-personalisation OOH solutions.
- Manage the adoption of best practices, ensuring they are commercially sound and set word-potently against competitors.
- Implement the Planning Framework within structured commercial frameworks ensuring adherence to SLAs, PRF (Proposal Review Outcomes), and audit access.
- Ensure collaborative partnerships between trading, activation, data, automation, and innovation teams.
External & Internal Influence
- Lead the branding, enablement, recruitment, leadership development, and strategy for all OOH clients.
- Represent the UK market and broader UK Spark vision within your professional stakeholder networks.
- Drive growth strategies in alignment with Publicis Media’s broader OOH product initiatives through thought leadership and best-of-class insights.
Performance & Commercial Responsibility
- Forecast spend accuracy and adhere rigorously to controls like commercial guarantees and contracts.
- Monitor performance with clarity for internal stakeholders, inform leadership via insights, and compare against other commercial partners and industry benchmarks.
- Champion data-driven and technology-uplifting opportunities improving practice, processes, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Specific Competence Requirements
Technical & Strategic Skills
√ Excellent OOH expertise covering planning, buying, and placing campaigns using tools (e.g., Purl, Route, Planner, Touchpoints). √ Deep consumer-based data strategy to optimize and engage audiences. √ Ability to marry strategic OOH planning with broader client objectives. √ Strategic expert in marketing and advertising methodology, including digital programmatic & advertising concepts, digital content distribution (e.g., Posterscope digital technology).
Business & Commercial Acumen
√ Strong drive to convert challenges into solutions to evaluate growth opportunities aligning with business KPIs. √ Mastery in proactive project management, adaptability to varying workloads and high-pressure environments. √ Demonstrate commercial savvy to negotiate contracts, refine pricing structures, and upscale product through strategic decision-making.
Leadership & Collaboration
√ Exceptional service continuity skills to drive trends, partnerships, and supplier relationships expansions with key accounts. √ Highly client and stakeholder-focused, fostering strong intermediator relationships in trading, CS, and planning. √ Trusted advisor, with persuasive communication skills across internal/external audiences to education, influence and present ideas affecting brand impact.

Technical & Experience Requirements
Experience:
- Proven success in accounting roles across OOH including agencies of similar size.
- Experience with creative agile marketing teams creating innovative media frameworks.
- Proficiency in analysis, data insights, financial tracking, and automated tech-driven workflows.
Intellectual & Relational Traits:
- Doctoral understanding of trend impacts and technological trends on modern marketing.
- Agile in eliminating constraints / working cross-functionally within OOH—and change components of branding elements like strategy and computation.
- Resilient, opportunistic, solution-oriented in high-impact, structured domains.
