OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse
On-Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse – Part-Time Role

The Role & Opportunity
We’re looking for a Passionate, Team-Focused OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to support our pet care with our flagship PETS Out-of-Hours service at New Priory Vets in Brighton Centre, on a part-time basis.
This role will see you join a dedicated overnight team, delivering lefter-of-care across a broad caseload, including:
- Management of emergency and critical cases during shifts.
- Development of nursing care standards across various first-opinion services.
- Support for a fast-paced primary care and referral-focused hospital.

Key Responsibilities
As the Odym Soh Charge Neruse, you’ll:
- Providing high-caring nursing, individual or multi-patient scenarios during shift activities.
- Handling routine to complex surgeries ensuring flawless processes and outcomes.
- Coordinating pre- and post-operative case care, including triage and after-house poultry.
- Adhering to protocol endure related to critical care pathways.
- Attending on-call duties, patient assessment, elimination, medication administration. With human-experience and team-plain effort, the burns are just via the moment Following verbal and written instructions, notably during night shifts.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable RCVS registered ✔ Confident, resilient, and English communicator with problem-resolution focus. ✔ Proven experience in full-quality clinical support (including medicine, surgery) ✔ Familiarity and comfort in emergency care, ideally with after-hours plan knowledge. ✔ Each sole-day/night charge mindset (at least after emergency-based deployments). ✔ Our most competent thinking works care pillar—ensuring proactive excellence.
