About Freefly

Over a decade of experience in the professional cinematography industry has given Freefly a unique ability to develop and bring innovative products to market that serve the needs of cinema and aerial professionals. Freefly is passionate about pushing the envelope technologically.

We are looking to add a Manufacturing Technician to our team!

This position involves repairing our products in Woodinville, Washington. The ideal candidate should be outgoing, able to work with a small team, able to flex in where needed and have a strong willingness to improve. We manufacture all of our drone and gimbal products in house and are looking for strong candidates who love what they do!

Job Summary

  • Performing a wide variety of service and repair tasks for Freefly products.
  • Repair, rebuild, test and ship Freefly UAS/Drones.
  • Diagnose, triage, and provide clear estimates for customers.

Minimum Required Experience

  • Previous experience with drones, either commercial or hobbyist.
  • Previous experience using hand tools (screw drivers, etc.)
  • Previous experience using power drivers.
  • Previous experience working on an assembly line or with an assembly team.
  • Understanding of bill of materials and work instructions.
  • Read/write and fluent understanding of English.
  • Ability to multitask, learn a multitude of tasks, and desire to excel.
  • Great attitude and desire to hustle.
  • Fluent understanding of Windows based PCs, you do not need to be a power user but you need to use computers daily in your life to succeed here.
  • Pass a comprehensive exam demonstrating ability.

Optional Experience

  • Part 107 pilot.
  • Ability to pilot in manual mode.

Compensation

  • $40-55K year/DOE.
  • 100% Paid Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits.
  • Profit Sharing, Ample PTO

  • Strong attention to detail is a must. We’re fun to work with but VERY demanding!
  • This is a manufacturing position and as such can be repetitive.
