Altum Consulting are supporting a leading not-for-profit organisation who are undergoing a major digital transformation with data and technology playing a key role in how it delivers greater impact in the future.
About the Role:
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to play a key role in bringing structure, pace, and delivery focus to a complex operating model transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme manage a business-critical operating model transformation of the organisation's data and technology function.
- Support the review of the current operating model, organisational structure, ways of working, capability gaps and future skills requirements.
- Support the external consultants to deliver the organisation's three-year plan into a practical operating model roadmap, including transition states and delivery milestones.
- Bring together multiple workstreams into one clear programme plan, managing dependencies, risks, decisions, and key milestones.
- Manage external consultants and ensure activity remains focused, aligned and delivered at pace.
- Orchestrate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and programme governance across the organisation.
- Design and execute change and communications strategy and approach to support engagement, adoption and readiness.
- Ensure Steering Committee meetings run effectively, with clear reporting, actions, decisions, and escalation routes.
- Act as a hands-on delivery lead, bringing clarity and structure to an evolving programme.

Required Experience:
- Expertise in programme managing operating model transformation programmes for the data and technology function
- Excellent understanding of data and technology landscapes, with the ability to confidently programme manage across both business and technical workstreams.
- Experience working alongside external consultants to deliver future-state operating model design, transition planning and implementation.
- Strong delivery discipline across programme plans, RAID, governance, SteerCo reporting, milestones and dependencies.
- Experience working with external consultants and keeping outputs practical, aligned and delivery-focused.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior leaders, functional teams and operational stakeholders.
- Experience designing and delivering change, communications and engagement activity across complex organisations.
