Operations Strategy & Planning Lead – EMEA Content Operations
About the Role
The Operations Strategy & Planning team at TikTok is focused on driving scale, standardisation, execution quality, and cost efficiency across the Content Operations function. This pivotal role involves developing the operating model, ensuring process excellence, capacity planning, and governing OKRs to support content growth while optimising for accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
Collaborating closely with Content Verticals, Regional Operations, PGC Product, Engineering, Data Science, and cross-functional teams, this position ensures operations are data-driven, future-proof, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the long-term operational efficiency strategy for EMEA Content Operations
- Build and evolve scalable operating models to support growth in:
- Content volume
- Market expansion
- Policy complexity
- Make data-driven trade-offs balancing quality, speed, cost, and risk
- Own end-to-end process design, optimisation, and documentation, including:
- Moderation workflows
- Appeals processes
- Escalation handling
- Specialised operational workflows
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methods to:
- Reduce waste
- Minimise rework
- Improve latency
- Launch continuous improvement initiatives delivering measurable gains in:
- Efficiency
- Quality
- Develop and maintain:
- Regional capacity plans
- Workload forecasts
- Detailed capacity models
- Assist in budgeting and ROI analysis, providing clear, actionable insights
- Lead annual and quarterly OKR planning & reporting, bridging strategy and execution
- Define, track, and improve core operational efficiency metrics, such as:
- Cost per decision
- Handle time
- Automation rate

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Strategy consulting
- Business analytics
- Operations analysis
- or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in:
- Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
- Ability to think structured, balancing big-picture strategy with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Fast learner with intellectual curiosity and a passion for driving business impact in dynamic environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of:
- Leading complex projects
- Delivering measurable results
