Operational Administrator Salary: £16,802.49 based on the part time hours Permanent 22 Hours a week Minimum of 2 days a month will be in the office at Milton House Cambridge. Water Recycling is at the heart of our operations. The key services that we are responsible for are delivered by our in-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets. Our network includes 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres. Would you like to be part of a team who responsible for the safe and sustainable operation and maintenance of our water recycling assets? At the heart of our business, our Operational Administrators support and assist the efficient running of the operational teams. This interesting and varied role involves a high degree of organisation and prioritisation, while effectively managing confidential information. You’ll be the fundamental support needed to assist with the efficient and effective running of the WROL Control Centre. Managing your own workload, you’ll undertake crucial administration and procurement support to ensure the smooth running of the office and the water supply area. Your main duties will include: Ordering of supplies for the WROL team Managing credit card reconciliation Telephone call handling Assisting with compliance documentation and reporting Meeting room management Occasional minute taking Updating employee training Organising electronic and paper filing systems. Using your strong organisational skills, you’ll support the management team with day to day tasks and requests from the WROL team. You’ll also communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, contractors and customers, always providing a high standard of customer service. You will have experience as an administrator, ideally within a similar operational industry. You must possess excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to pro-actively liaise with a wide variety of people. You’ll be IT literate and an advanced user of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. As well as strong numeracy skills, you’ll have experience with data handling and spread sheet preparation.
