About the Role
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced logistics environment? Do you thrive in a busy environment?
Here at GXO, we are recruiting an Operational Administrator to join our team at IKEA in Dartford.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours a week, 14:00 – 22:00, on a 5 days out of 7 day shift pattern.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- Play a key role in a fast-paced distribution centre, coordinating inbound and outbound volumes to ensure smooth, efficient supply chain operations
- Work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders, building strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and drivers to deliver outstanding service
- Contribute to operational planning and order flow, using WMS systems and real-time decision-making to maximise efficiency and service levels
- Drive continuous improvement, contributing ideas and supporting the development of processes that enhance warehouse performance and productivity
- Champion safety, accuracy, and compliance, ensuring loads are dispatched correctly, site standards are maintained, and Health & Safety remains a top priority

What You Need to Succeed at GXO
- Be flexible and respond positively and reliably to internal and external customer requests
- Experience of warehouse management systems within a distribution operation
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to be able to produce spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels
- Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
