This role will translate improvement activity into tangible outcomes whilst providing a proactive forward-looking approach. Our mission is to develop the tools and technology that enable our teams to get our customers back to normal.

The Operational Excellence Consultant will be a key component of the team in executing and delivering efficiencies that contribute to our strategic ambition. Strong engagement, storytelling, and problem-solving skills will help identify, shape, inform, and execute value to the business.

You will spend time at any operational site or department that affects operational process to develop long-term solutions, this may be delivered through recommendations to the function but may on occasion require ownership of the actions through the Operational Excellence Team. This role bridges the gap between showcasing the critical work the team does and where the team points their efforts.

The complexity of decisions and the strategic nature of the role necessitate a forward-thinking and collaborative approach.

The role requires thinking and planning in alignment with Solus' long-term business strategy. Decisions made have a significant impact on the organisation's operational landscape and long-term success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
