Operational Excellence Lead – Wealth Operations

Location: London
Practice Area: Wealth & Asset Management
Type: Permanent

The Role

Transform wealth operations through Lean thinking, Agile delivery, and AI-enabled efficiency.

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to drive optimisation and transformation across Wealth Management operations, spanning front, middle, and back-office environments.

This role focuses on Lean-led operational improvement, value stream redesign, and AI-enabled process transformation. You will partner with client stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, deliver measurable performance improvements, and embed sustainable operating model change across onboarding, servicing, and core operational processes.

As AI continues to reshape financial services, you'll be expected to embrace AI-enabled ways of working, using approved AI and automation tools to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, improve delivery quality, and support better client outcomes, while always applying human judgement and responsible AI practices. You'll also help clients identify opportunities to embed AI-enabled capabilities into future operating models where appropriate, balancing innovation with effective governance and oversight.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead wealth operations optimisation initiatives across onboarding, servicing, and core operational processes, using approved AI-enabled tools where appropriate to accelerate delivery and improve operational performance.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and value stream mapping to identify cost, efficiency, and quality improvement opportunities, leveraging AI-supported analysis to generate deeper operational insights.
  • Design and deliver Agile-led operational transformation programmes that embed sustainable change and responsible AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Identify, assess, and implement AI-enabled automation and process redesign opportunities that improve productivity, service quality, and operational resilience.
  • Track and evidence measurable efficiency gains, cost optimisation, and service improvements using data-driven insights and AI-enabled reporting where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
