About the role:
Join PwC’s vibrant and fast-growing cross-sector practice, covering Financial Services (Banking & Insurance), Private Equity, Central and Local Government, Defence, and Energy & Utilities, an area of exciting transformation and strategic focus! As a key member of our evolving BSCO team, Managers have a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects in process redesign, productivity, cost reduction and cutting-edge AI-driven innovation that directly enhance our clients’ operational and financial success.
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Manager to add to our BSCO team who is passionate about driving innovation and meaningful change across large, complex operations. This role offers a fantastic platform to be at the forefront of shaping the future of operations across our priority sectors.
What your days will look like:
- Take ownership of critical workstreams within high-impact operations transformation projects, driving process excellence across our priority sectors.
- Act with integrity and care as you lead detailed analysis of operating models and processes, uncovering valuable opportunities that make a real difference by delivering efficiency gains and sustainable cost reductions.
- Leverage PwC’s methodologies alongside cutting-edge analytics, AI, and intelligent automation tools to design innovative, data-driven solutions that reimagine what’s possible and elevate client operations to new levels of performance.
- Play a pivotal role in cultivating strong, trusted partnerships with clients and internal teams, working together seamlessly to exceed expectations, deliver exceptional project results, and fuel sustainable growth.
- Be proactive in shaping compelling proposals and client presentations that clearly communicate powerful value propositions aligned with client priorities.
- Build lasting relationships founded on care, trust, responsiveness, and the consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate openly across teams, sharing insights and championing continuous learning to foster a culture that empowers every colleague.
- Together, contribute to the ongoing evolution and success of our practice by embracing new ideas and reimagining the future of operations across our priority sectors.

This role is for you if:
- Demonstrated consulting or operational experience across one or more core sectors: Financial Services (Banking & Insurance), Private Equity, Central and Local Government, Defence, or Energy & Utilities.
- Proven ability to translate complex operational data into actionable insights to identify opportunities and track benefits (e.g. Power Query, Power BI).
- Strong technical capability in analysing and optimising operational processes, with Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent preferred.
- Expertise in operating model transformation, including design, implementation, and sourcing strategy development.
- Track record of driving productivity improvements through structured problem solving, effective operating rhythms, and performance insights.
- Proven success in delivering cost reduction initiatives, developing robust business cases, and leading associated commercial discussions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and networking skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and champion sustainable cultural change.
- Highly articulate written communicator, able to develop compelling reports, proposals, and thought leadership to support business development.
- Established network and/or experience within priority sectors desirable, with broader cross-sector exposure viewed favourably.
