Spreetail – Operational Excellence Manager

Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Learn more: www.spreetail.com

About the Role

Spreetail is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to drive process standardization and continuous improvement across our growing European network (UK, Germany, Italy, France, and upcoming in Spain). As the ultimate owner of warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), you will ensure all EU facilities operate at a consistent, optimized standard. If you bring deep hands-on warehouse knowledge, a passion for Lean methodologies, and the ability to turn data-driven insights into cost savings and service improvements—we want you to help shape our EU operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain a comprehensive library of Spreetail EU SOPs, including inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory management.
  • Conduct regular audits at fulfilment centre (FC) sites to assess compliance, producing actionable reports and improvement plans.
  • Lead continous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Kaizen, and 5S to enhance labor efficiency, space utilization, and waste reduction.
  • Own inventory control and quality assurance (ICQA) programs, including cycle counting and disparity investigations.
  • Define and monitor KPI frameworks for operational performance across all EU sites, delivering root-cause analysis and targeted solutions.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners, technology, and transportation teams to align processes, deploy system enhancements (such as Linnworks), and support new facility launches.
  • Create and deliver training materials and on-site sessions to strengthen SOP compliance among FC managers, supervisors, and operatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
