Operational Manager B8a
Operational Manager (RES and HSCP Front Door Teams) – Renfrewshire HSCP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Allied Health Professional (AHP) with extensive clinical and leadership experience within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) or integrated teams for the position of Operational Manager for the Rehabilitation and Enablement Service (RES), the Hospital at Home service, and the Home First Response Service (HFRS) within Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
About the Role
This is a key leadership post with both operational and strategic management responsibility, overseeing a diverse range of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will integrate into the Renfrewshire management structure, managing:
- Line management of staff across:
- Rehabilitation and Enablement Service (RES)
- Hospital at Home service
- Home First Response Service (HFRS)
- Recruitment, appraisal, and continuing professional development
- Performance management, including budgetary responsibilities
- Clinical and corporate governance
- Staff accommodation
- Information Management & IT (IM&T)
For strategic alignment, the incumbent will:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for RES, Hospital at Home, and HFRS.
- Ensure performance accountability for resources and activity within their area.
- Contribute to management input for the HSCP/Locality strategic structure.
- Actively participate in the planning and management of Health and Social Care services in Renfrewshire HSCP.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellence in clinical leadership within a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
- Manage delegated budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Foster a collaborative workforce through staff development, appraisals, and governance.
- Align operations with NHS and public sector strategic priorities.
- Represent the team in strategic discussions impacting local health and social care delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- A qualified Allied Health Professional (AHP) with senior clinical and leadership experience.
- Proven track record in operational and strategic healthcare management.
- Experience working with MDTs, integrated teams, or similar multi-professional environments preferred.
- Understanding of clinical governance, workforce development, and resource management in a public sector setting.
- Availability to integrate into the Renfrewshire HSCP structure and contribute to evolving hospital-based care models.
