Menu Strategy Applicant

About The Role

Our recipes and menus are the core of everything we do here at HelloFresh. We're looking for someone to plan delicious and cost-efficient menus to ensure our customers are satisfied with our weekly offering. The best part? The weekly menu you design will be available to thousands of customers—impacting customer satisfaction and their meal enjoyment.

This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) maternity cover, reporting to the Menu Strategy Manager.


Key Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the end-to-end process of our product execution framework by:
    • Ensuring menus are planned and finalised per Product and Culinary strategy.
    • Selecting the core recipes sent to customers weekly while adhering to business needs and operational constraints.
  • Analyse customer feedback and translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve future menus:
    • Deep-dive into menu and recipe performance metrics.
    • Propose enhancement business cases with ROI analysis.
  • Track menu costs at all stages, with value engineering iniciativas when needed.
  • Optimise the product execution framework cadence, injecting agile working methods.
  • Support Menu Strategy, Product, and wider teams to:
    • Develop unique core offerings aligned with customer needs.
    • Collaborate with Culinary & Supply Chain Operations (SCO) teams to resolve menu challenges (e.g., supply shifts).

Requirements: Who You Are

  • Strong product operations experience (or equivalent).
  • Methodical approach to long-term optimisation (e.g., menu strategy).
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, with attention to detail.
  • Comfort in high-pressure environments; ability to solve customer problems.
  • Stakeholder management expertise (balancing competing priorities).
  • Passion for food and practical culinary knowledge (a plus).
