The Role
Overview
- Plan, schedule and allocate Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities for production assets.
- Dive Continuous Improvement (CI) on the PM activities following feedback from the team.
- Create, monitor, collate and analyse KPIs.
- Report KPIs to the key stakeholders and wider engineering department or site.
- Provide feedback to the Engineering Manager (EM) regarding onsite progress, current issues and planned upcoming work.
- Ensure the hierarchy of assets within CMMS (SAP PM) work efficiently in the system and especially with reference to spare parts allocation.
- Monitor the PM engineering budget allocation, inform the Engineering Manager if spend is not within the forecast target zone.
- Attend production, planning and engineering meetings when required.
- Safety review of PM activities and raise improvement ideas aligned to our safety culture and compliance requirements.
- Performance monitoring using appropriate KPI information focus on progress of engineering activities, communicate results with the internal and Group Reliability team.
- Condition Monitoring review findings and issue remedial actions, organise resource requirements and plan effective resolutions.
- Resource planning for PM schedule activities (including contractor activities, engineer availability, spare parts requirement).
