Operational Resilience Manager - 12 month FTC / Secondment

Market Operational Resilience Manager (12 Month FTC / Secondment)

Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace. We share the collective intelligence and risk-sharing expertise of the market’s brightest minds, working together for a braver world. Our role is to inspire courage, ensuring tomorrow’s progress isn’t limited by today’s risks.

We unify around guiding values:

  • We are brave.
  • We are stronger together.
  • We do the right thing.

If you share these values and a passion for building a more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future, you’ll find a home with us.

We are seeking a Market Operational Resilience Manager on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) or Secondment, to reinforce the resilience of the Lloyd’s market. This is your chance to shape how risk is understood, assessed, and acted upon across a global marketplace.

About the Role

You’ll report to the Market Governance, Risk, and Resilience leadership team, converting insights into meaningful impact:

  • Review and assess operational and cyber resilience submissions from managing agents
  • Identify strengths, gaps, and emerging risks across the market
  • Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to prioritise oversight efforts
  • Shape and deliver senior governance forum reporting
  • Support and occasionally lead engagement with market stakeholders
  • Contribute to market-wide initiatives, including scenario exercises and resilience surveys
  • Develop strong collaborations across Markets and Operations for consistent oversight

Your work will directly influence the Lloyd’s market’s resilience today—and its evolution tomorrow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
