We're Sky, Europe's biggest entertainment brand.

Think top-quality shows. Breaking news. Innovative tech. Must-have products. Careers here mean the freedom and support you need to make an impact - pushing boundaries, creating solutions, hitting targets. And as part of our close-knit team, you'll enjoy plenty of benefits. Plus, experiences you'll only find at Sky.

Operational Resilience sits at the heart of how we protect that experience. It’s our ability to prepare for, withstand and recover from disruption — safeguarding our customers, our people, and our reputation. Our approach brings together Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management, setting the standard across Sky and placing our team at the forefront of how the organisation responds to risk and crisis.

A Bit About The Role…

We’re looking for a proactive and driven individual to join our Operational Resilience, Readiness and Response team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of a high-impact, evolving programme — supporting and helping to lead deliverables across Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management.

You’ll play a key role in delivering major milestones that shape how Sky prepares for and responds to disruption, helping to define best practice and set the benchmark across the business. Working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, you’ll ensure our resilience capability is clearly articulated, consistently applied, and continuously improving.

As an Operational Resilience Practitioner, you’ll gain exposure across the full resilience landscape, from strategy and planning through to real-world incident response and exercising. You’ll contribute to a programme that is highly visible, business-critical and constantly evolving.

This role offers hands-on experience, real ownership and the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need a can-do mindset, strong analytical thinking, and the confidence to engage and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the delivery of key Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management initiatives, contributing to programmes that set the standard across Sky
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce and maintain high-quality resilience documentation aligned to strategic priorities
  • Develop clear, compelling materials and updates for senior leadership, translating complex topics into actionable insight
  • Drive consistency through standardised frameworks, templates and processes across resilience disciplines
  • Gather and synthesise inputs from across the business to ensure resilience outputs reflect current risks, plans and capabilities
  • Support the development of training, playbooks, guidance and exercising materials that enhance the organisation’s readiness
  • Contribute to reporting and dashboards that track resilience maturity, performance and key outcomes
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rota, supporting effective incident response when required
  • Enable the team’s use of emerging technology, including AI, to strengthen training, testing and resilience capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
