Based in Bogotá, Colombia, we are looking for a Regional Physical Security Manager to strengthen our Global Corporate Security function. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting a growing security organization, contributing to the coordination, standardization, and continuous improvement of physical security practices across multiple locations.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, combining operational excellence, risk management, and innovation to help ensure a resilient and secure working environment.

Your Job

As a Regional Physical Security Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving physical security processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness in line with Munich Re standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with physical security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting risk assessments and security surveys in line with global policies and local regulations
  • Managing access control systems, visitor management processes, and security platforms
  • Overseeing incident management, including tracking, documentation, and follow-up actions
  • Ensuring the functionality and continuous improvement of security technologies (e.g., CCTV, access control)
  • Supporting the implementation of new security technologies and digital solutions
  • Managing and optimizing security data, reporting, and platforms to support informed decision-making
  • Coordinating and managing external vendors, ensuring service quality, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Driving process optimization and identifying opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen security frameworks and best practices
  • Training employees on security procedures and access control best practices

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in corporate physical security, preferably in an international environment
  • University degree in security management or a related field (postgraduate studies are a plus)
  • Knowledge of risk management and security assessment methodologies
  • Familiarity with security systems, including access control and CCTV
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional, multicultural teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor / subject matter expert in physical security
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail
  • Advanced English skills (written and spoken); Spanish required
