In this role, you’ll be a critical voice in how infrastructure is designed, built, and experienced—ensuring safety is never an afterthought. About The Opportunity

You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking Transportation team trusted on major programmes like HS2, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, and large-scale UK local authority schemes. Day to day, you’ll deliver road safety audits and operational safety reviews that directly influence design outcomes—working alongside designers, clients, and stakeholders to embed safety from concept through to delivery. Here's what you'll need
Experience in road safety engineering and carrying out road safety audits, operational safety reviews, safety risk assessments, collision analysis and investigation DMRB GG119 Certificate of Competence and current compliance with DMRB GG119 as Audit Team Leader or Member Good understanding and working knowledge of using design standards Membership of a relevant recognised industry Institute / Institution and ability to demonstrate eligibility to work towards obtaining Incorporated Engineer (IEng) Chartered Engineer (CEng) registration if not already registered Full UK driving licence
