About The Role
As an Operational Support Analyst you will drive financial accuracy and process improvement across Central Transport. You will lead reporting for monthly and yearly closures, manage budget forecasting, and oversee cost allocation and fleet analysis. By collaborating with finance business partners and fleet operators, you will provide critical insights to support our strategic financial goals.
At a Glance
- Contract Type: 12-month fixed temporary contract (internally known as a Secondment)
- Location: Bracknell Head Office
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (approx. 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
- Hours: 35 per week
- Salary: £40,000 – £58,500 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
Key Responsibilities
The successful Operational Support Analyst will play a key role in the business-critical team managing the fleet of commercial vehicles and cars. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing detailed reporting to facilitate monthly and yearly closures within central finance teams.
- Collaborating with stakeholders (including fleet operators and workshop managers) to establish robust processes for accurate reporting and KPI performance.
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process across Central Transport.
- Managing the vehicle leasing process, coordinating between the team and banking partners.
- Conducting detailed variance analysis and assisting in the yearly budgeting coordination.
- Managing all collation and analysis for Partnership-wide cost allocation, ensuring timely data delivery to central finance.
- Coordinating fleet cost reporting and analysis across the Partnership.
- People management of two Operational Support Technicians.

Essential Skills
- Intermediate/Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and key management information (KPI)
- Understanding of fleet operations (workshops, vehicle KPIs)
- Experience in vehicle leasing processes
- People management experience
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Key2 fleet management application
- Experience with car schemes, including company cars and employee car ownership schemes
