Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Infrastructure Programs Team. Our teams deliver programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Operational Support Manager you'll be working on our Thames Water Infrastructure Programs contract covering London and Thames Valley.
As the Operational Support Manager, you will be a highly organised, efficient multitasker and flexible individual who is keen to be part of a vibrant office environment. You will provide support to the Contract Director and Senior Management Team and ensure that the M Group Water Infrastructure Programmes runs smoothly and efficiently.
- You'll be responsible for the compilation of various reports within strict timescales.
- Coordinate the Senior Management team diaries.
- Assist with operational logistics and ensuring that staff have the required support to help complete the works.
- You will also assist with collation and completion of contract performance reporting.
- You will manage a small team.

You'll have the opportunity to assist with ensuring all legal HR policies are in place and up to date. Maintaining all data protection regulations and GDPR regulations
- You'll be prioritising and drafting correspondence, reports and presentations etc, using Microsoft Office products.
- Collate, produce and disseminate of monthly newsletters and internal communication updates.
- Schedule and organise conferences and events.
You'll be maintaining sickness, absence and holiday information, arrange fleet for new starters and managing fleet within the contract. Support with new starters and leavers within the contract.
What You’ll Bring
- Do you have at least 3 years experience as a site secretary/document controller and be used to using systems such as 4 projects / viewpoint / fieldview / Microsoft Office etc?
- Do you have an understanding of business communication tools and processes?
- Are you self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, with excellent planning and time management?
- Are you an efficient and well organised individual, with the ability to continually reprioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines?
